The Role:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Lead Audio Engineer to oversee all audio operations within our dynamic showroom entertainment venue. This individual will be responsible for designing, operating, and maintaining high-quality sound systems for a wide range of live performances, including concerts, comedy shows, theatrical productions, and special events. This role is key in ensuring every guest experiences superior audio quality in an exciting casino environment.

Responsibilities:



  • Operate and program lighting systems in the Showroom and Blu Nightclub for DJ nights, special events, and live shows.
  • Program the ETC Full Boar 4 lighting console in the showroom.
  • Design, install, and remove convention center theatrical lighting for all conventions, parties, and VIP events.
  • Maintain house lighting in the showroom, Nightclubs, and convention center.
  • Perform regular maintenance on lighting instruments in the showroom, nightclubs, and convention center.
  • Install new lighting equipment.
  • Reposition lighting fixtures to accommodate incoming tour lighting.
  • Clean, organize, and maintain lighting booth, stage left lighting storage, and dimmer room.
  • Clean and maintain lighting dimmers in the Convention center.
  • Plan redesign of lighting systems in showroom and nightclubs, including aesthetics, functionality, power requirements, and cabling.
  • Preset HQ Bar lighting for monthly bands and DJs.
  • Maintain power service panels.
  • Maintain spotlights.
  • Repair and replace bad cables.
  • Maintain inventory of gels, replacement lamps, hazer fluid, etc.
  • Crosstrain stage techs to be back up board and spotlight operators.
  • Coordinate back up lighting techs during concurrent events.
  • Attend BEO meetings with Sales and Marketing teams.


Qualifications:



  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in lighting engineering, preferably in a casino, theater, or live music venue.
  • Strong knowledge of digital lighting consoles (e.g., HOG, GrandMA, AVOLITE etc).
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to read technical riders and stage plots, and adapt to varying show needs.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
