National Grid is hiring a Meter Shop Supervisor - Analysis and Operations for our Gas Meter Shop department in Wilmington, MA. The hours for this on-site role are from 6am to 2:30pm.

The Role

The Gas Meter Shop Supervisor - Analysis and Operations will oversee the daily operations of the gas meter shop and analyze asset metrics.

What You'll Do
  • Manage work associated with installing, testing, using, repairing, and maintaining all types of gas meters and associated electronic instruments and devices
  • Forecast asset planning, order meters and equipment with multiple vendors and internal procurement to track deliveries and invoice payments
  • Work closely with internal partners directly and indirectly in the Meter Life Cycle
  • Develop, maintain and manage metrics and data on all Meter Shop activities
  • Ensure compliance with utility regulations, safety standards (e.g., OSHA), and quality assurance procedures
  • Overseeing all facility needs for the Meter Shop and coordinating with the appropriate department
About You
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering or a technical discipline required
  • 5+ years of related work experience in electric/gas operations/utility required
  • 5+ years of related work experience in a supervisory or leadership role preferred
  • Proficiency with MS Office required
  • SQL, SAP experience preferred
  • Experience with of gas meters and associated meter-related devices preferred
  • Valid driver's license required
