Description & Requirements The Talkowski Laboratory in the Center for Genomic Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) and the Stanley Center for Psychiatric Research at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard is seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic candidate to work with our research group to detect, annotate, and characterize genetic variants in large cohorts of patients with autism and other neuropsychiatric conditions. The Talkowski Lab is a large, diverse, and interdisciplinary group of scientists dedicated to the characterization of genomic variation contributing to human disease. The group is leading and contributing to multiple international consortia that collect, process, aggregate, and analyze genomic sequencing data on a large scale.
Skills:
Education: Ph.D. in a computational discipline (e.g., computational biology, bioinformatics, biostatistics, computer science, mathematics, physics, statistics) with 3+ years of related experience preferred but exceptional candidates with less experience are welcome to apply. The expected base pay range for this position as listed above is based on a 40 hour per week schedule. Broad provides pay ranges representing its reasonable and good faith estimate of what the organization reasonably expects to pay for a position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will vary based on factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, education, qualifications, and other factors permissible by law.
