The Project Coordinator will provide support for energy efficiency programs and client projects. The Project Coordinator will maintain open lines of communication with management and staff to ensure proper processing of projects to the utility. They will also be accountable for supporting program success, primarily through project delivery and providing excellent customer support for both the utility and customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare utility incentive applications and supporting documentation, including information gathering, data entry and any other requirements necessary to submit the utility accurately and completely in a timely manner.
  • Ensure accuracy through rigorous quality assurance processes across program submissions, project reviews, and data management.
  • Be able to follow verbal and written guidance provided by clients and program management.
  • Manage and update internal and external databases to comply with the needs of specific utility requirements, establishing consistency throughout platforms and communications.
  • Monitor program tasks, reporting, and follow-up progress and achievements to ensure that utility and company performance timelines are defined and met.
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings and inspections with clients, internal staff, and/or utility staff as needed.
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with program management, customers, and the utility to assure smooth functioning of systems and procedures.
  • Engage in any additional tasks/duties as assigned to help facilitate program success.

Job Requirements / Qualifications

  • Associate degree or higher from an accredited institution preferred or 2-3 years of professional experience in a related field.
  • Detail oriented and analytical.
  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Sound business ethics, including the protection of proprietary and confidential information.
  • Ability to work with all levels of internal staff, as well as outside clients and vendors.
  • Proficient in MS Office, MS Excel, MS Word, and MS Outlook.
  • Ability to carry out systematic data tracking and reporting processes.
  • Hybrid role - minimum 3 days in the office, up to 2 days work from home. Subject to change. Employees are expected to adhere to the working schedule as assigned by Supervisor.
