Major Responsibilities

As a Child and Family Therapist, you will



  • Meet with individuals and families at our Minneapolis (Center for Changing Lives) and St. Paul (Eustis) Building locations. This position provides individual and / or family counseling services to children, adolescents, and adults.
  • Provide therapy to improve the lives of those we serve.
  • Support individuals desiring support in their childhood, adolescent or parenting journey.
  • Increase skills and tools for individuals and families that will improve their well-being and emotional connections.



Qualifications:



  • Education: Master's degree and LICSW (Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker), LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist), Licensed Psychologist (LP), or LPCC (Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor) required. Licensure must be active and in good standing with respective Licensing Board and adhere to licensure ethics and regulations.
  • Training: Experience with grief, loss, attachment, anxiety, depression, trauma, and Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs). Experience with and knowledge of the most current Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) categories representing the range of mental health disorders.


  • Skills: Strong organizational skills, highly motivated, ability to multi-task and manage work duties, strong decision making, critical thinking, analytical, conflict resolution, interpersonal effectiveness, accountability, and the ability to demonstrate professional boundaries.


  • Travel: Must have a valid driver's license, meet insurance requirements, reliable vehicle, and be insurable under agency policy.
  • Successfully complete the requirements of a background check, including MS 604.20.
