The Inside Sales Supervisor plays a key role in providing daily hands-on leadership for the Inside Sales department. This position is responsible to supervise, monitor and provide leadership to the Inside Sales staff. The Supervisor ensures prompt, efficient, quality service by effectively overseeing the dynamics of the team.

Responsibilities of Position:



  • Manage inside sales staff and inbound call queue
  • Coach, train and motivate associates to ensure quality servicing of all callers; monitor call content for quality and professionalism, and address customer inquiries
  • Oversee digital sales via text, web, email to ensure customers are receiving excellent customer experience while purchasing our services
  • Communicate with other departments and management to resolve problems and expedite work
  • Oversee training and development programs; implement performance standards and monitor performance goals
  • Maximize the closing ratio of inbound Temporary and Permanent Commercial prospects that can be closed over the phone
  • Assist with maintaining existing commercial line of business revenue through high quality Customer Service and retention skills
  • Conduct follow-up audits on billing and IPak information, regular database management
  • Implement and ensure compliance with the Rumpke call process
  • Design and implement strategies for reporting and paper flow efficiencies
  • Oversee administrative reporting functions and processes
  • Assist team in providing inside sales support for market outside sales representatives and assist in the successful achievement of budgeted sales goals
  • Assist with finalizing and processing new order paperwork
  • Perform tasks in a safe manner in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and company policies
  • Perform other duties as assigned



Supervisory Responsibility:



  • This position will manage 1-10 employees
  • This position will not oversee and direct other managers



Skills & Abilities Needed for Position:



  • Proven excellent customer service skills; ability to be persuasive with customers keeping "customer satisfaction" as a guiding factor
  • Ability to motivate staff and deal effectively with performance issues to meet standards, proven leadership skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Exceptional judgment and decision-making skills in areas of personnel management
  • Ability to successfully coach and develop associates
  • Must possess a professional demeanor and telephone etiquette
  • Possess proven analytical/problem solving solutions
  • Computer proficiency in Windows and Microsoft applications



Experience & Knowledge Needed for Position:



  • 2-3 years of experience in Inside Sales, Sales Support, Administrative Assistance, or similar, required
  • Previous supervisory/management experience, preferred
  • Previous database management experience, preferred



Physical Requirements in a Regular Workday:



  • Occasionally lifting/carrying a max of 10 lbs
  • Rarely lifting/carrying a max of 20 lbs
  • Rarely stooping/kneeling/crouching/crawling
  • Rarely climbing and/or balancing
  • Frequently sitting/standing
  • Occasionally walking



Additional Working Conditions/Aspects:



  • Ability to travel between offices, as required
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends, and/or holidays
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States
  • Valid driver's license (if applicable)
  • Must successfully complete pre-employment testing
  • Must be able to read and speak the English language

Associates of Relevant field (preferred)
Experience
Database management experience. (preferred)
2 years: Previous supervisory/management experience. (required)
1 years: Digital Sales or Marketing. (required)
Inside Sales, Sales Support, Administrative Assistance, or similar experience. (required)
