Summary:

Under direct supervision, provides clerical assistance and performs administrative related functions in conjunction with other service center personnel in the maintenance of daily service center activities. This is a temp/seasonal position.

We're seeking a motivated individual with 1-2 years of relevant experience to join our team in a seasonal remote role. While the position is remote, we are specifically looking for candidates based in Folsom, California.



  • Type: Seasonal (Temporary)
  • Compensation: $25-$29 per hour, based on experience



Description



  • Prepare billings and assemble work product for distribution.
  • Answers and directs incoming phone calls.
  • Open, index and sort all mail (incoming and outgoing)
  • Photocopy, faxing and scanning functions as needed by the service center personnel.
  • Assists and/or relieves other clerical personnel for vacation, sick leave or as deemed necessary.
  • Assists in and/or performs general clerical/secretarial duties necessary to accomplish daily service center activities.
  • Performs general filing duties.
  • Assist as needed with the accounts receivable and accounts payable responsibilities within the specific service center operation. This may include calling, faxing, emailing and interacting with clients and vendors.
  • Performs typing/keyboarding and data input functions.
  • Provides secretarial assistance for service center; serves as back-up support to administrative personnel.
  • Upholds the Crawford Code of Business Conduct at all times.
  • Participates in special projects or performs duties in other areas as requested.


Qualifications



  • High school graduate or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Intermediate Word and Excel Software Skills.
  • Basic PowerPoint Software Skills.
  • Alphabetical and numerical filing ability.
  • Standard business machines.
  • Accurate typing or keyboarding skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to coordinate work flow of other clerical employees
  • Previous clerical/secretarial experience is preferred;
  • Frequent interaction with service center and corporate headquarters personnel and some contact with clients or claimants concerning routine reporting or exchange of information requiring little or no interpretation.
