Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Programmer with our client in the financial industry located in Plano, TX. This is a 12+ month contract position. Responsibilities:
- Follow the established written procedures, guidelines and techniques,
- Develop, enhance, test, support, maintain, and debug software applications that support business units or support functions
- Work under general direction on the most complex projects, often on multiple phases, and seek guidance and direction from more senior associates or managers
- Responsible for the completion of a phase of a project
- Provide guidance and checks the work of less experienced associates
- Work with onsite team to determine needs and apply/customize existing technology to meet those requirements
- Maintain existing software systems by identifying and correcting software defects
- Maintain and support multiple projects and deadlines
- Document and report application specifics
- Create technical specifications and test plans
- Provide weekend on call support during application releases
- Lead and contribute in development, documentation, deployment and automation
Requirements:
- B.E./B.S/B. Tech/M.E./M. Tech/BSC/MSC/BCA/MCA (prefer IT/CS specialization)
- 4-8 years' Informatica experience
- Strong experience and understanding and working knowledge of ETL - Informatica
- Expertise in Informatica PowerCenter (or other Informatica tools like Informatica Cloud
- Strong experience in designing, developing, and optimizing ETL workflows, mappings, and sessions
- Proficiency in handling complex transformations (e.g., Lookup, Aggregator, Router, Joiner, etc.)
- Expertise in ETL performance tuning, including optimizing mappings, sessions, and workflows
- Ability to analyze and improve database query performance
- Experience in integrating data from multiple sources (e.g., flat files, XML, JSON, APIs, databases)
- Experience in implementing data quality checks and validation rules
- Familiarity with data governance tools and practices
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Shell, Python
- Experience with job schedulers like Autosys
- Strong ETL Integration/testing knowledge and experience with at least 3 to 4 Integrations
- Excellent data relationship / data interfaces / SQL query skills
- Work efforts must be thorough and focused with strong attention to detail
- Know the Git and Jenkins
- Able to understand strategic objectives as well as deliver tactical solutions
- Ability to document designs in a Wiki as well as draw clean flow and sequence diagrams
- Ability to coordinate with multiple application partners, business, other IT managers, architecture, internal stakeholders and developers in providing solution suggestions and constructive feedback
- Ability to confer with peers, architects, Client and product owners to backwards engineer legacy integrations and develop technical requirements without a BRD
- Experience with clouds, multithreading, distributed environments, fault tolerance, scalable software, DevOps
- Provide story point estimates and design
- Excellent analytical skills and critical thinking

- Software's: ETL(Informatica)
- Programming : SQL, Informatica, Mule and Apex

- Understanding of Credit Underwriting Technologies
- Knowledge of nCino
- Design by contract
- Proactive approach to problem solving and think innovatively
- Experience on large integration efforts
- MuleSoft/middleware skills
- Wholesale Client Knowledge
- Basic Salesforce and advanced Salesforce integration skills
- Excellent Web Services (REST / SOAP) skills
- MuleSoft certifications
- Passionate about technology and learning
- Experience with event driven design patterns
- Agile Kanban, test driven development, analytical yet quick decision maker
- Experience in a CI environment with automated builds and tests
- Delivering projects based on Agile/XP methodologies
- Good understanding of the functional testing process, scenarios and what to expect from a testing sequence
- Working knowledge of business or function for which application is designed
Pay range:
$58.26 - $66.26
