Here's what you'd do:

  • The Aircraft Maintenance Crew Chief is responsible for supervising and delegating assignments to Aircraft Maintenance Technicians for the scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of aircraft under the operational control of client Flight Operations.
  • This position will ensure the airworthiness of aircraft as per the Certified Repair Station Manual.
  • Lead/direct technical and aircraft cleaning staff.
  • Supervise the daily activities of Flight Operations technicians.
  • Inspect maintenance performed by others.
  • Evaluate discrepancy reports to determine if such reports affect airworthiness.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and rectification of discrepancies.
  • Maintain a constant maintenance status of all client-owned aircraft.
  • Ensure demo aircraft are airworthy and in demo-quality appearance as flight schedules demand.
  • Designate other non-maintenance responsibilities for specific aircraft to individual technicians.
  • Ensure all maintenance tasks are performed in accordance with the current Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR), Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM), and Repair Station manual.
  • Ensure all maintenance records are in accordance with Federal Aviation Regulations (FAR) 91.417.
  • Maintain proper control and tracking of components replaced.
  • Assist Commercial as requested or assigned.
  • assist with Pre-Owned aircraft sales as requested/assigned by the Chief of Maintenance.
  • Coordinate with Office Manager-Flight Operations on matters concerning aircraft record keeping, maintenance, purchase orders, invoicing, and other administrative requirements.
  • Promote/foster an environment that provides the team with opportunities to succeed.
  • Provide Annual Performance Evaluations for direct reports.
  • Possess working knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations as they pertain to Part 91 and 145.
  • Maintain subscription lists for all outside service vendors about the maintenance and operations of demo aircraft (Navigational data bases, EGPWS data bases, Falcon Broadcast Services, Satellite communications, Airborne Flight Information Services, Engine trending and performance services, Engine and APU maintenance programs, Emergency locator transmitter registrations with NOAA).
  • Assume responsibility for maintaining the hangar's appearance and cleanliness.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Flight Operations or Commercial.

Pay: $42.00 - $59.00 / hour.

Hours: 40 hrs/Week.

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with a service center or aircraft management Services.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience with Falcon maintenance.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant license
  • FAA Inspection Authorization privileges IAW FAR 65.95.
  • Completion of two (2) current production aircraft maintenance initial training courses.
  • Engine Run and Taxi qualified.
  • One (1) current engine type Maintenance Initial Training.
  • Proven leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Intermediate proficiency with MS Office products, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • CAMP systems program knowledge.
  • CAMP Avisource knowledge.

Additional Information:

  • Flexible work schedule.
  • Lifting to 50 pounds is needed for standard maintenance functions. 24/7 availability on a cell phone.

  • Customer and vendor interface needed.
