This individual will be responsible for all commercial aspects of a vehicle line, while serving as the main finance business partner with the respective Brand and Sales Operations organization. This individual is responsible for delivering his or her assigned vehicle line profitability target by working with the Brand to develop strategies for maximizing profit through Pricing, Trim & Option Mix, and optimizing Incentives. This role interacts very closely with the Brand team(s) as a direct business partner. In addition to the nameplate level responsibilities, this individual will serve as the "Cross Brand Coordinator" for all six N.A. Brands (Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram, Fiat & Alfa Romeo) supporting consolidated N.A. level reporting, monthly SLT preparation, variance analysis and ad-hoc requests spanning across the various commercial groups/markets.

Key Responsibilities Include:



  • Being an operating partner with Brand Management supporting all commercial initiatives as the Finance representative
  • Leading all competitive pricing initiatives for respective vehicle line(s)
  • Leading all financial analysis and support strategy development initiatives to help achieve Brand/vehicle line financial targets
  • Developing & presenting monthly KPI's and identifying areas of risk and opportunity to Brand Director(s) and Vice President(s) of the Brand
  • Collaborating with the Brand in preparing and evaluating business cases consisting of product change proposals, trim & option mix, volume, etc. Assist in identifying or developing alternative strategies when proposal is not financially sound.
  • Support Commercial Committee presentations and preparation through financial analysis
  • Liaison between Brand Finance Directors and the various markets, commercial groups and FP&A; supporting requests and functions that span across all N.A. Brands

Basic Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Mathematics, Finance or Accounting; or related degree; if no Bachelor's degree in the aforementioned, must have a Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA), Finance, or Accounting
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience OR a Master's with 7 years' experience and substantial exposure/experience in Automotive, Product Development, and/or Sales & Marketing Finance


Preferred Qualifications:



  • MBA or MS in Finance or Accounting
  • Platform Finance or Pricing Experience
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and ESSBASE
  • Ability to work well with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt easily to change, including prioritization of assignments
  • Results-oriented: possess the ability to plan, develop, implement and measure results
  • Strong analytical, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
