As a Financial Crimes Specialist, you will provide assistance to the BSA, Fraud, and Security team to support the successful execution of an effective and comprehensive compliance program. Departmental duties are related to the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA, Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Customer Identification Program (CIP), and the Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC).

This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Usual days and hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm. Hours vary depending on business needs.

What you'll need to be our Financial Crimes Specialist:



  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Three-plus years of banking experience.
  • Advanced use of a personal computer and proficient in Microsoft products, such as Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Working knowledge of banking laws and regulations.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

What you'll do as a Financial Crimes Specialist:



  • Review and resolve suspicious activity alerts in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Conduct suspicious activity investigations and sanctions screenings.
  • Understand and maintain the confidentiality requirements of the position to minimize risk and violation of applicable regulations.
  • Prepare and execute customer notices and correspondence.
