This key role coordinates multiple teams-Backorder Processors, Will Call, Cashiers, Returns, Reception, and Shipping-to maintain operational excellence and alignment with Caterpillar standards and metrics.

What You'll Do as a Parts Operations Manager:


As the Parts Operations Manager, you'll manage daily internal operations while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and outstanding customer service. You'll partner with cross-functional teams to support seamless operations and uphold Mustang Cat's reputation for service excellence.


Responsibilities include:



  • Oversee daily operations for Backorder Processors, Will Call, Cashiers, Returns, Reception, and Shipping teams
  • Ensure consistent, high-quality customer service for internal and external customers
  • Coordinate workflows and priorities to maintain smooth and efficient operations
  • Monitor adherence to operational standards and Caterpillar performance metrics
  • Identify process improvements to increase accuracy, speed, and productivity
  • Collaborate with Parts leadership and other departments to resolve issues and enhance efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures
  • Train and coach team members to uphold performance and customer service expectations
  • Support data tracking, reporting, and communication of operational results to leadership
  • Maintain a positive, team-oriented culture that fosters accountability and continuous improvement


What We're Looking For:



  • College degree in Business, Operations, or a related field (equivalent experience considered)
  • 3+ years of experience in operations management and/or leadership roles
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and a high sense of urgency
  • Effective written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
  • Empathetic leadership style that drives teamwork and accountability
  • Ability to perform under pressure and manage competing priorities
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
