Owned Social Strategist This is a 9-month, full-time (40 hours/week), on-site contract role located in Culver City, California. Summary
The Services Social Marketing team is seeking an Owned Social Strategist to develop and execute organic social marketing strategies across multiple Services. This role focuses on owned and operated channels while collaborating with partner channels to tell impactful stories, engage audiences, and elevate the overall social presence of the organization's services. Our Ideal Candidate
- 5+ years of experience in digital/social marketing within the social media space
- 3+ years managing agencies and vendors
- Passionate about social media, culture, and storytelling
- Skilled in working directly with creators, artists, and external partners on social marketing initiatives
- Proficient in using data, audience insights, platform trends, and social listening to inform strategy
- Experienced in leading cross-functional projects and initiatives
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple campaigns and projects simultaneously
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and working in a multifaceted environment
- Hands-on experience with programming, publishing, and managing content across social channels
- Flexible to support occasional nights and weekends

In this role, you will develop social-first concepts, campaigns, and programs for the organization's owned social channels. You'll partner with multiple cross-functional teams to plan and execute integrated campaigns, evangelize social best practices, and provide thought leadership on social trends and strategies. Responsibilities include hands-on programming and publishing support, managing agency relationships, and collaborating with high-profile talent to ensure campaigns are executed at the highest standard. Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Background in digital/social marketing, brand marketing, or related disciplines
- Experience managing agency relationships and working with external creators and partners Additional Requirements
- This opportunity is located in Culver City, California and requires on-site work
- The pay for this W-2 position is $70 per hour
