The Director of Treasury leads DaVita's global treasury operations with accountability for areas such as cash management, liquidity strategy, banking infrastructure, and capital markets support. This role shapes the direction of the Treasury function, ensures operational excellence, and partners with senior leaders across the Village to advance DaVita's financial strategy. The Director of Treasury builds high-performing teams, elevates cross-functional collaboration, and drives continuous improvement in treasury service delivery, systems, and processes.

Cash Management & Liquidity

  • Oversee cash positioning, liquidity planning, and short-term investing
  • Ensure accuracy, control, and timeliness of daily cash management, forecasting, and intercompany funding
  • Lead continuous improvements in forecasting accuracy

Bank Relationship Management

  • Serves as a primary relationship manager for banking partners
  • Evaluates banking products, pricing, and service performance; negotiate terms, fees, and other support
  • Partner with bank groups on opportunities to improve the Village's treasury capabilities (payment/receivable transformation, merchant services, fraud mitigation, connectivity, etc.)

Leadership & Collaboration

  • Collaborate with various teams to evaluate operational considerations when expanding into new markets or executing projects globally
  • Responsibility for direction, coordination, and evaluation of treasury team
  • Lead and enhance internal processes to drive operational efficiency and to ensure compliance with internal policies, controls, and procedures.
  • Model DaVita's core values, the DaVita Way of leading and create a culture of belonging in all interactions
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and growth opportunities to elevate individual and team capability

Education & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration (required)
  • MBA in Finance, Master's in Accounting, or equivalent advanced degree (strongly preferred)
  • Professional certifications a major plus:
    • CTP (Certified Treasury Professional)
    • CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst)
    • CPA (Certified Public Accountant)
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in corporate treasury, finance, capital markets, or related fields
  • 5+ years in a leadership/management role, preferably in a large, global, publicly traded company
  • Proven experience managing:
    • Cash management for high-volume, multinational operations
    • Foreign exchange (FX) risk and exposure management
    • Liquidity planning and short-term/long-term cash forecasting
    • Investment management of corporate cash and short-term portfolios
  • Experience with global banking systems, treasury management systems (TMS), and ERP platforms (e.g., Kyriba, SAP, Oracle)

This position will be open for a minimum of three days.

The Salary Range for the role is $140,000.00 - $202,000.00/year. If a candidate is hired, they will be paid at least the minimum wage according to their geographical jurisdiction and the exemption status for the position. Washington Exempt: $77,968.80/year Washington Non-exempt: Bellingham: $17.66/hour, Burien: $21.16/hour, Unincorporated King County: $20.29/hour, Renton: $20.90/hour, Seattle: $20.76/hour, Tukwila: $21.10/hour, Remainder of Washington state: $16.66/hour
