Senior Applications Engineer - Annular Isolation

As an Senior Application Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing technical support to the Geomarkets for Annular Isolation tools.

  • Updating and reviewing changes to Annular Isolation global documents.

  • Leading Geomarket applications engineers in their product and applications selections and work in alignment with Global Product Line strategy.

  • Collaborating with Geomarket Sales and Operations teams to develop and champion product design improvements.

  • Leading New Product Introduction (NPI) and New Product Revenue (NPR) efforts by training Sales, Operations, and Customers on new products and services.

  • Assisting with technical preparation of key Annular Isolation tenders and bids.

  • Working on Field Incidents related to products/services

  • Handling special projects, as assigned.

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Have Bachelor's Degree with 5+ years of experience in Annular Isolation Operations or Engineering roles OR Non-degreed candidate with 10+years of Annular Isolation operations experience.

  • Have thorough technical background in with focus on Annular Isolation products, technologies, and installation.

  • Have minimum of 3 additional years of experience in Technical Support.

  • Have excellent leadership, strong interpersonal, influencing and planning skills

  • Have ability to manage, develop, coach and mentor teams across organization boundaries

  • Have ability to be on call outside of normal business hours

  • Have demonstrated ability work in a global matrix organization

  • Have thorough understanding of P/L and technical job planning requirements

  • Have excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Have strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Have fluency in English.

  • Have must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

  • Have must have the ability to travel (typically travel to rig sites, customer facilities, meetings, etc.)

Desired Characteristics:

  • Have ability to use the available processes and software tools available in BH for Wellbore Construction (TubeMove, SwellPREdictor, Torque & Drag, SAP, etc.)

  • Have Rig site experience with installation of Wellbore Construction products.

  • Have experience in District Engineering job role
