Our Commercial Aircraft Group is looking for aContinuous Improvement Manager. You will report to the Director of Operational Excellence located with the Moog Commercial Aircraft Group in East Aurora, NY. You will strategize, deploy and implement lean and continuous improvement activities across the entire value streams of the CAG OE Division.

As a Continuous Improvement Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Lean Transformation and Business Operating System: Lead the deployment, maturity and sustainment of lean & CI activities across multiple value streams, functions and sites.

  • Align with the Breakthrough Objectives (BTO) of the Commercial OE business strategy.

  • Coach leaders across the organization in lean leadership behaviors and empower teams to solve problems effectively.

  • Identify, prioritize and execute CI projects through Kaizens and A3 methodologies.

  • Deliver measurable results through OEE, Cycle time, Inventory, Lead time, Throughput and FPY improvements.

  • Build relationships and lead through influence across the various different functions and sites.

  • Coordinate initiatives and projects with Plant managers, Value Stream leaders, Supply chain, Engineering & Quality functions.

  • Form and lead the lean steering committee to provide governance and oversight

  • Hold responsibility over developing the CI Roadmap for CAG OE.

To be considered for the Continuous Improvement Manager, here are the skills you'll bring with you:

  • Bachelor's degree Engineering or Business with a minimum of five (5) years' experience

  • Background in Engineering (Manufacturing/Product, /Supply Chain/Business).

  • Lean/Six Sigma Skills required.

  • Strong data analysis skillset preferred.

  • Critical and independent thinking, able to lead and influence a team, people skills.

Salary Range Transparency:

Buffalo, NY $120,000.00-$150,000.00 Annually

Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees.
