The Opportunity

  • Sr. Solution Architect at a growth-oriented energy company
  • Be the key business contact on architecture roadmap, design and sustainment for our commodity trading, scheduling, and order to cash value stream
  • Gain business process transformation exposure and roadmap architecture ownership
  • Reporting to the Director, Enterprise Technology, you will provide design and support for Par Pacific's OTC and energy commodities commercial business applications environment.

Key activities include:

  • Responsible for the deployment and support of Par Pacific's order to cash processes
  • Responsible for owning downstream SAP OTC, hydrocarbon value chain functionality
  • Responsible for partnering with the business to understand their requirements, facilitate design decisions, and system configuration
  • Responsible for architecting and designing solutions to meet business requirements through leading solution design sessions with the Commercial and Finance organizations
  • Define functional requirements for application development, own the solution design, and partner with development resources to create and maintain RICEF objects
  • Manage production support and troubleshoot issues working with Par Pacific's external support partners
  • Define and review test plans and outcomes to validate solution meets design and business requirements

Qualifications

To meet the basic qualifications for this role, you will have legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship.

Additional qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree in information systems or a related field required
  • Minimum 7 years' experience in functional solution design and delivery within Hydrocarbon Supply Chain (SAP SD/MM/IS Oil and Allegro) required
  • Functional and technical knowledge related to Downstream and Midstream commercial operations (Trading, Pricing, Scheduling, Exchange, Supply, Transportation Movements, Actualization) required
  • Strong analytical and design solutioning skills required
  • Knowledge, understanding and integrations of the following SAP modules - Tax, AR, AP, API, IDOCS and PI/PO systems required
  • Certifications in SAP preferred

Our Refineries and Logistics Operations
