Job Description:
The Chemical & Materials Expeditor will provide administrative and logistical support to the Materials and Chemical Management team. This position will assist in maintaining databases, tracking material requests, coordinating communications, and supporting the overall workflow as fab activity continues to grow across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Support HFC-usage monitoring and reduction plans Assist in maintaining AVA Chem inventory and materials management database Assist with input of vendors, new materials, and incoming customer requests Monitor and maintain tracking of request packets and purchasing documents to ensure timely turnaround Prepare and export reports from AVA for internal and external use Analyze and monitor AVA data for accuracy and completeness Support filing, follow-up, and completeness review of MRFs Respond to customer MRF requests within two business days Confirm packet receipt within two business days (barring issues) Ensure timely submission of MRF packets per category timelines (5-10 business days) Generate weekly MRF packet status reports for customers Assist with compiling and filing completed purchase packets Coordinate with vendors on order releases and ETAs
Support spreadsheet and chart maintenance for tracking POs, releases, and receipts Provide administrative support for gas bids, litho blanket POs, and other technical initiatives Attend meetings and assist with meeting reports and internal communications Support training of internal users on request and procurement processes Participate in continuous improvement efforts with finance, procurement, and engineering teams
Requirements:
Associate's degree or higher in business, materials management, or related field 3+ years of experience in administrative, inventory, purchasing, or data tracking roles Experience with inventory or chemical management software (e.g., AVA Chem) Familiarity with Excel, database tools, and file tracking systems Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage time-sensitive tasks and maintain attention to detail Experience in fast-paced environments; lab or materials knowledge a plus
