| Posting Summary |
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for The Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy. The Pharmacy Technician will assist with the Sterile Compounding course in the School of Pharmacy curriculum. This course is offered once a week during the Spring semester, with a one hour lecture and five sections of laboratory, each one hour and twenty minutes. The technician will assist the students during class, helping to teach hands-on techniques and answering student questions.
Among the key duties of the position are the following:
- Monitors the progress of each laboratory session to ensure that each student completes the required components.
- Provides feedback to the course coordinators on laboratory activities and assist in the design of laboratory sessions.
- Assists the course coordinators with laboratory setup and cleanup.
- Grades students during their practical exams.

Qualifications
| Minimum Education and Experience |
- Bachelor's degree in a related field and a minimum of two years of relevant experience working in a hospital pharmacy, spending the majority of time in compounding sterile products or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
