Security Officer - Shopping Center Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer - Shopping Center Patrol Driver in Pembroke Pines, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated retail areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence throughout the location. Your role includes conducting routine patrols, engaging with visitors, and delivering exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at the retail location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting Allied Universal and client objectives.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail property and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or unauthorized access.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control and provide directions or information to visitors as needed.
• Support emergency response activities when appropriate, following established protocols.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs and reports of daily activities and incidents encountered during patrols.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
