Description

This Registered Nurse is responsible for the coordination, supervision, and delivery of quality forensic care to designated regional community hospital sites in the UH system under the directive of the Adult Forensic SANE Coordinator that is in alignment with the goals and mission of the Blair Dickey-White Sexual Assault Survivor program. The Forensic RN serves under the direction of the Forensic SANE Coordinator and works collaboratively to ensure the implementation of programming initiatives, training and quality assurance of community SANE providers, and timely up-to-date education of the community.

A Brief Overview

Provides safe efficient age specific nursing care to patients/families using the nursing process in order to assist them to attain, maintain, regain, and sustain optimal health status.

  • Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.
