Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work ON-SITE with our client in Phoenix, AZ. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

  • This individual will be an integral part of the engineering team and will be responsible for creating and maintaining all technical documentation.
  • This includes user manuals, installation guides, troubleshooting guides, checklists, white papers, and other technical documents.
  • The technical writer will be a key member of the client product sustaining team, interacting with multiple groups within the organization, including engineering, new product development, validation, technical support, and quality, as well as interfacing with OEM customers.
  • The engineering team is seeking to expand our multidisciplinary engineering team to tackle new challenges in the industry and is looking for a talented technical writer to fill a critical role within the team.

  • The Technical Writer will be a member of a multidisciplinary engineering team, providing documentation support for thermal test solutions to the semiconductor industry.
  • The position is responsible for engineering support of production activities.
  • This technical writer will work closely with manufacturing personnel to support documentation of existing production lines and processes.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gain a comprehensive understanding of the product and its associated documentation requirements.
  • Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience.
  • Write easy-to-understand user interface text and development guides.
  • Create tutorials to help end-users with the product line.
  • Analyze existing and potential content, focusing on reuse and correctness.
  • Create and maintain the information architecture.

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 / hr.

Hours: 40 hrs/Week.

Length: Contract-to-Hire.

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a production setting.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in technical writing of production documentation.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Ability to deliver high-quality documentation, paying attention to detail.
  • Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures.
  • Excellent written skills in English, Spanish, or Chinese.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
  • Good interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization.
