Management/Leadership Req #: 58499 Summary: The Quality Reporting Manager will be responsible for managing system-wide planning and implementation of an integrated reporting system for standardized measures of clinical quality. Reporting to the Chief Quality Officer and working closely with local health system quality leads, the Quality Reporting Manager will: ensure timely and accurate reporting of MaineHealth system quality dashboard measures, assess gaps in clinical quality measurement and reporting at the local and system level, work jointly with IT to explore and implement solutions to meet reporting needs at the local and system level, represent the Quality Dept. in relationships with reporting software vendors, coordinate external reporting of quality measures as needed, and serve as a resource for local teams in addressing unmet needs related to clinical quality reporting. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
- Education: Four-year college degree in a health-related field is required; Master's degree preferred
- License/Certifications: N/A
- Experience: At least 5 years working in a health care delivery organization is required, with a minimum of 2 years in a primarily administrative or management role
- Familiarity with patient safety measures, national patient safety goals, Leapfrog safety grades, and performance improvement tools and concepts, e.g., plan-do-study-act, is required
- Familiarity with commonly used safety event reporting software systems is required
- Familiarity with electronic health records and clinical decision support is required
- Experience working in a hospital or integrated health system preferred
- Experience leading and managing teams across multiple locations
- Strong critical thinking skills and attention to detail
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite or equivalent
