Here's what you'd do:

• Set up and execute structural optimizations (design space, constraints, objectives).
• Interpret results and propose manufacturable solutions.
• Perform subsystem and full-vehicle level optimization (stiffness, stress, mass).
• Apply multi-domain and multi-material optimization strategies.
• Utilize tools such as OptiStruct, NASTRAN, HyperWorks, and BetaCAE.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to balance performance across attributes.
• Provide design guidance during concept phases.
• Performance assessed via task-based evaluations.

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $85.71 / hr.

Hours: 40 hrs/Week.

Length: Contract (8 months).

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in OptiStruct/NASTRAN, Hyperworks, and BetaCAE.

• Script in Python or TCL.
• Good FEA fundamentals and CAE optimization knowledge.
• Enthusiastic, quick learner, problem solver, and team collaborator.
