Job Description

Position will support several externally funded projects, including two R01s focused autonomic health and disease. Successful applicant will work with all laboratory personnel (postdocs, students and lab tech staff) to help coordinate daily activities, including ordering within lab budgetary guidelines, and ensuring animal husbandry (mouse colonies maintenance). Supports, fosters and promotes an innovative and inclusive research environment optimized for learning and productivity. Ensures compliance with all regulatory agencies. Aids in training on all protocols, including safety and laboratory specific tasks. Engages in active research projects. Participates in ongoing decisions regarding study design, data collection, and methodology, and maintains optimal communication with principal investigator. Successful applicant will have more than 2 years of experience directing research related activities. Successful applicant should also have significant experience in imaging. Performs all other duties as assigned.

Shift

Monday - Friday: 8am - 5pm

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor's or Master's degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience and at least 3 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

More than 3 years of experience directing research related activities. More than 2 years in imaging research. Experience with mouse colony required.

Anticipated Hiring Range

Salary Range: $59,737.60 - $110,198.40 per year

Grade: GGS-011
