Salary: $65,000-$85,000

Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily cash management and reconciliations for multiple bank accounts throughout the month and at month-end, including researching discrepancies and communicating with relevant departments and individuals.
  • Assist with the month-end close process, including generating required reports, completing all close procedures, and ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.
  • Complete balance sheet account reconciliations and prepare clear documentation of findings, resolving discrepancies as needed.
  • Review sales invoices and reporting to identify errors, communicate corrections, and update invoices prior to inventory posting.
  • Assist with reviewing miscellaneous inventory items to identify errors, evaluate shrink accuracy, and report findings to appropriate team members.
  • Review, prepare, and post recurring and ad hoc journal entries required for month-end financial reporting.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, research and implement new tools, streamline workflows, and document procedures to enhance team efficiency and accuracy.
  • Support accounting projects, audits, and financial reporting as needed.
  • Assist in other accounting areas as needed, leveraging cross-training to ensure continuity of operations.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or business, or the equivalent thereof, and 3 years or more of accounting-related work experience or internships demonstrating knowledge of accounting principles.
  • Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Demonstrate strong business knowledge and advanced Excel skills, with proven abilities in collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision-making, and continuous professional growth.
  • Proactively drives process improvements, implements innovative tools, optimizes workflows, and ensures thorough documentation, with a strong passion for efficiency and continuous learning."
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
  • Must be flexible and willing to work extended hours during peak periods

Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law. In addition to base pay, certain roles may be eligible for bonuses, incentives, and commissions.
