    Job Summary:

    The Agency Relations Representative Senior offers dedicated support to ECMC's external collection agencies by investigating and addressing issues and inconsistencies, preparing performance reports, and serving as a knowledgeable resource for staff through written and verbal communication.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Creates reports for internal and external use including Daily Performance reports, Weekly Placement by Performance reports and Monthly reports

    • Acts as resource for staff and external agencies for updates

    • Assists in researching and reviewing account issues

    • Research rehabilitation balance discrepancies

    • Responds to telephone calls, voicemails, emails, and written correspondence from external agencies

    • Assists external agencies in Direct Loan Consolidation process

    • Manages balance discrepancy report, work with lenders for additional funding on Rehabilitation accounts

    • Manages relationships with external collection agencies

    • Tracks, research, and resolves agency-related issues

    • manages conflicting priorities and handle multiple tasks/projects concurrently

    • Performs other duties as assigned

    Required Qualifications:

    • High School diploma or GED

    • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

    • 4+ year's experience in the financial services industry or student financial aid/student lending areas

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Post-secondary degree

    • Full understanding of various regulatory changes and how it impacts the business

    • Ability to effectively organize, plan, control and prioritize work/projects

    • Intermediate math skills with the ability to apply statistical analysis and survey techniques

    • Data entry experience

    The hourly range for this position is $24.00-$29.00 per hour. Actual hourly pay may vary based upon, but not limited to relevant experience, time in role, peer and market data, prior performance, business sector and geographic location.

    This is a hybrid position requiring 2 days in the office per week. Monday/Tuesday in office, Wed-Fri remote.
