Job Overview

The Luxury Selling Coordinator plays a critical role in connecting Bloomingdale's most exceptional products to top clients through precise and timely product movement. Acting as the hub between sellers, merchants, logistics, and stores, this role ensures smooth, accurate, and efficient fulfillment of product transfer, consignment, and special order requests. By enabling seamless access to inventory, the coordinator empowers top sellers to deliver elevated client experiences and drive luxury business performance.

Essential Functions

Product Coordination & Fulfillment



  • Serve as the primary point of contact for product transfers, consignment packages, and luxury fashion special orders across stores, merchants, and logistics teams.
  • Review and validate all incoming requests for completeness and accuracy, ensuring speed and precision at every step.
  • Communicate proactively with store and merchant partners to confirm availability, shipping timelines, and delivery confirmations.
  • Liaise with luxury vendor partners and concessions to facilitate special orders and consignment package requests.
  • Oversee post-appointment logistics, including return management and documentation of all product movements.


Process Optimization & Reporting



  • Establish clear, efficient processes to support network inventory movement, consignment fulfillment, and special order workflows.
  • Develop and maintain reporting tools to track request volume, turnaround times, and product flow visibility.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline operations, reduce delays, and enhance accuracy across the fulfillment lifecycle.
  • Partner with Selling & Client Development, Luxury Client Engagement, and Stores to ensure the process supports client experience standards.


Cross-Functional Collaboration



  • Collaborate closely with Luxury Selling, Merchandising, Logistics, Operations, and Store Leadership to ensure aligned priorities and accountability.
  • Provide routine updates and visibility into network inventory, open requests, and completion rates.
  • Support Luxury Selling activations and events by ensuring product access, consignment support, and logistics align with selling strategy and client needs.


Qualifications



  • 2-4 years of experience in retail operations, logistics coordination, or inventory control.
  • Strong organizational skills with a sharp attention to detail and ability to manage multiple concurrent requests.
  • Proven ability to work under tight timelines while maintaining accuracy and service excellence.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; adept at working with diverse teams across functions.
  • Resourceful, proactive, and adaptable to changing business priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with inventory management or retail systems preferred.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays when required.
