This role will act as an advisor to People & Culture and all levels of management, providing recommendations on compensation matters in support of business goals and ensuring market competitiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Drive and influence the development and execution of compensation processes and initiatives, such as annual salary planning, pay equity analysis, incentive modeling and calculations, salary structures, survey participation, benchmarking, global grading, and FLSA exemptions.

  • Partner with business unit leaders, managers, and internal teams to provide tools, programs, trainings, and guidance in all areas of compensation.

  • Conduct research, modeling, and analysis of our compensation programs for effectiveness in supporting our business goals.

  • Support assigned business units with all areas of compensation.

  • Support the salary recommendation process to ensure internal equity and market alignment by applying established job evaluation methodologies.

  • Interview and survey employees and managers to gather and document job, organizational, and occupational information, including duties, responsibilities, and skills required by each job.

  • Lead company-wide projects that support consistent application of company guidelines and structure.

  • Ensure data integrity, perform calculations, audits, and forecasting in support of compensation programs such as annual bonus program, sales incentive programs, and stock administration.

  • Keep up to date and educate internal team on evolving compensation related to compliance areas for the US and Canada.

  • Manage a team of compensation professionals, setting team goals and expectations, leading performance management conversations, and keeping abreast of team project status.

  • Consult with HR Business Partners and business leaders on a regular basis to provide compensation guidance and recommendations.

Minimum Experience Requirements

  • 5+ years of HR experience, including 3+ years supporting compensation areas.

  • Strong Excel skills to automate processes and support calculations and analytics (such as managing large datasets with functions, creating dynamic reports with pivot tables, building charts and graphs, cell/conditional formatting, task automation, etc.).

  • Experience with market surveys such as Radford and Willis Towers Watson.

  • Strong communication skills to maintain effective partnerships and provide presentations to company leaders.

  • Ability to engage in prolonged periods of computer use utilizing desktop and web-based applications.

  • Familiarity with pay transparency and equity legislation across multiple jurisdictions.

  • Confidentiality & Discretion: Handle sensitive compensation matters with restraint and professionalism.

  • Cultural intelligence and cross-cultural sensitivity.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree with a focus on Business or HR Administration.

  • Proven project lead experience.

  • Skilled in PowerPoint, including the ability to convert large amounts of data into clear, concise management presentations that facilitate decision making.

  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and maintain flexibility in a fast-paced, changing environment.

  • Delivershigh attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Knowledge and experience with Workday.

  • Familiarity with AI-powered tools and technologies for data analysis and process automation.

  • Consensus-building and stakeholder influence

  • Influence without authority: Persuade leaders through data, context, and alignment with company values rather than assertiveness alone.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to effectively operate a digital computer system (e.g., computers, laptops, tablets, smartphones, etc.).

  • Ability to compose written communications (e.g., emails, messages) and documents either via writing, typing, text-to-speech dictation or other methods.

  • Ability to access, understand, and apply information from written or digital materials.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $111,108 to $148,143.The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.

In addition to a competitive base salary, this position is also eligible for an annual corporate bonus plan, which is based oncompany performance and is not guaranteed, and a comprehensive benefits package including healthcare benefits (medical,dental, and vision), paid medical leave, a 401k plan with matching company contributions, vacation time, education assistance,student loan assistance program, eighty hours of paid sick leave time annually, and up to twelve weeks paid parental leave.
