WHAT YOU WILL DO:



  • Perform general and preventive maintenance on shop equipment, including troubleshooting and repairs
  • Interpret manuals, drawings, and specifications to solve problems and guide repair procedures
  • Disassemble, repair, replace parts, and reassemble equipment; perform basic fabrication and assembly
  • Maintain facility systems such as heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical
  • Handle wiring, piping, and basic electrical repairs to keep operations running smoothly
  • Support equipment relocation, installation, and requisitioning of parts or supplies
  • Safely manage hazardous materials and follow lockout/tagout procedures



WHAT EXPERIENCE YOU NEED:



  • Two-year technical degree with five years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong ability to interpret technical instructions, diagrams, and specifications
  • Skilled in diagnosing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • Basic math skills
  • Initiative, sound judgment, and a safety-first mindset
