The Honors College at the University of Missouri-St. Louis invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure track Assistant Teaching Professor. This position will teach in our first-year experience courses, Cultural Traditions I and II. The Cultural Traditions curriculum centers on engaging students with global texts from the ancient world through the modern day; as the Honors First Year Experience course, it provides an essential foundation for Honors learning, community-building, and professional development. * Academic advising. The initial appointment is for one academic year, with the potential for renewal and opportunities for promotion to Associate and Full Teaching Professor (non-tenure track). Multi-year appointments may be available as the faculty member advances in rank. Qualifications
