Sales Support Specialist Location: Camden, NJ Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (flexible shifts, overtime and occasional weekends as needed) Environment: Manufacturing plant (steel industry), casual setting, high-volume trucking movement About the Role We are seeking a Sales Support Specialist to join our team in Camden, NJ. This position plays a key role in supporting sales operations and ensuring smooth processing of customer purchase orders in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities * Assist Sales Manager with purchase order requests * Accurately enter and process sales orders * Monitor inventory levels and communicate updates to internal teams * Provide exceptional customer service and respond to inquiries promptly * Manage shipping updates and invoicing requirements * Organize and maintain data in Excel, ensuring accurate customer information * Adhere to company policies and standards Qualifications * Previous experience in sales support * Familiarity with invoicing/billing and shipping/receiving processes * Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills (including Outlook) * Excellent communication and organizational skills * Customer service experience * Steel industry experience is highly preferred but not required Work Environment * Casual atmosphere, not a corporate office * Must be comfortable in an industrial setting with steel workers and trucking activity Why Join Us? * Flexible hours * Opportunity to work in a dynamic, hands-on environment * Be part of a team that values efficiency and customer satisfaction Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of CAMDEN, NJ.
