GENERAL FUNCTION

The Senior Director, Strategic Initiatives will lead critical initiatives that drive growth, transformation, and execution across Professional Solutions. Reporting to the SVP of Strategy & Business Development, this leader will oversee the development of go-to-market (GTM) strategies, sales force transformation efforts, channel growth plans, and strategic initiatives across the Professional Solutions portfolio.

This role spans both the commercial and support sides of the business, ensuring consistency and alignment across all Professional Solutions business units. As the regional leader for corporate initiatives, the Senior Director will drive the execution of HQ-designed global programs within the Americas region ensuring Professional Solutions priorities are reflected and delivered at scale.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Leadership & Growth:



  • Lead channel and category opportunity assessments to guide strategic planning and growth.
  • Drive the design and implementation of Sales Force and GTM strategy design, ensuring new ways of working defined and ready to be cascaded effectively.
  • Serve as the regional lead for corporate initiatives, representing Professional Solutions Americas in global company-wide programs.
  • Partner with senior leadership to ensure alignment of goals, roles, and organizational structures across commercial and corporate functions.


Commercial & Customer Excellence:



  • Partner with Customer Excellence and Support teams to drive effective market launches and ensure initiatives are cascaded across the region.
  • Collaborate with Commercial Excellence and Channel Leaders to design frameworks that accelerate project activation and execution.
  • Identify and evaluate evolutions in GTM models and commercial approaches to strengthen market performance and competitiveness.


Global & Regional Impact:



  • Ensure Professional Solutions Americas' priorities are fully represented in corporate initiatives and embedded into global business strategies.
  • Work cross-functionally to connect strategic planning, business development, and execution across business units.
  • Support SVP and executive leadership with insights, recommendations, and readiness for business unit initiatives.


People Leadership



  • Manage and develop a team of Directors/Senior Managers across the Optical, Sun, and Med/Tech channels.
  • Build a high-performance culture rooted in accountability, collaboration, and innovation.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to channel leaders to ensure consistency and scalability of strategies.


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS



  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Economics, Strategy, or a related field required.
  • 12+ years of progressive experience in strategic planning, commercial strategy/business development, or channel leadership, preferably within healthcare, med-tech, or consumer industries. Previous experience in top-tier management consulting firms is considered a strong plus
  • Strong track record in sales force transformation, GTM design, or channel growth execution.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams at regional and global levels.
  • Proven experience managing senior- mid-level talent in a complex, matrixed environment.
  • Superior communication, stakeholder engagement, and organizational change leadership skills, with the ability to influence across all levels of the business.

Pay Range:223,817.60-324,352.00

Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements.
