Overview

TRC is seeking a Distribution Coordinator to join our Power Distribution Engineering team within our growing Power Sector. This is an in-office position, and candidates must be local to one of our Orlando office location.

This position supports project tracking, coordination, and permitting activities. The role also provides administrative and coordination support to Managers, Supervisors, and staff to help ensure project objectives are met and customer expectations are achieved.


Responsibilities

  • Assist in the Permitting Program within Asset Design. Creating permits for Pole Replacement and Major Projects.
  • Assist Managers, Supervisors, and staff with general day-to-day operations when needed.
  • Assist in the preparation of various documents and materials (proposals, presentations, project deliverables, etc.) including word processing, graphics, layout, editing, and final production.
  • Assist with various administrative duties, scheduling, and logistical preparation in case of storm restoration response.
  • Promote office and project safety, demonstrating safety as a priority and adherence to TRC and client safety policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • Associate's or Bachelor's degree acceptable but not required.
  • Demonstrated interest in professional growth and development within the role.

Preferences:

  • Prior experience with project tracking, scheduling, and document control.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel; experience with Smartsheet and GIS (Geographic Information System) software is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to track and manage day-to-day activities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge and understanding of the National Electrical Safety Code (NESC) is a plus but not required.

Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.

Other Compensation: Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company's annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.
