As a Security Guard - Resort Unarmed Patrols in Bethesda, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a renowned hotel and resort location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents while delivering exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to guests, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the hotel and resort location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns.
• Assist with emergency response activities as needed, including guiding guests and staff during incidents.
• Maintain clear and accurate documentation of daily activities, observations, and incidents as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
• Communicate professionally with hotel/resort staff and guests to provide information and support as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
