As a Security Guard - Commercial Property Patrol in Downtown Manhattan, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and tenants by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols inside the commercial real estate property and along the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any unusual activities or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel in accordance with Allied Universal's guidelines.
• Assist with access control, visitor management, and monitoring of entry and exit points as required by site procedures.
• Support emergency response activities, including assisting with evacuations or other protocols as directed by site management or Allied Universal leadership.
• Maintain accurate and timely logs and reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required by site policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid New York State Security Guard License is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
