Join our National Award-Winning Alarm Monitoring team! Vivint's Alarm Monitoring Specialists protect families and property 24/7. Our Monitoring Specialists take on an especially vital role to ensure the safety of our customers, including (1) properly responding to alarm signals from our customers' alarm systems, (2) dispatching emergency signals to police, fire, and medical agencies., (3) providing world-class customer service to our customers in their time of need. What We Offer: Comprehensive Training: Paid, full-time, mandatory 5 weeks Shift Pay Differentials + Biweekly Performance Bonus + Commissions + Additional Monthly/Quarterly Bonus Training: Full Time, Paid, Mandatory 5 weeks (2:00 pm - 10:30 pm Monday through Friday) Schedules Available 2pm - 10pm 10pm - 6am (Third Shift) Starting Rate:$18.00/hr We want you to grow with us! Potential to make up to $19.25/hr and other career growth opportunities within your first year! Additional $3/hr for hours worked during 3rd shifton site in our Eagan, MN office. Additional $1.00 per hour for bi-lingual Spanish/English speakers. Bonuses: additional $3-5/hr for top performers, additional $1.50/hr for average performers Minimum Requirements: You must be able to work in our Eagan, MN office. Must be able to pass an FBI criminal background check to obtain a Burglar Alarm License (or equivalent) in all 50 states High School Diploma or equivalent Be able to type a minimum of 40wpm One year customer service experience preferred, but not required A Day in the Life: New hires complete a 3-week new hire classroom training followed by a 2-week hands-on training. Includes comprehensive training on bothalarm standard operating procedures and how to assist customers in emergency situations. Dispatch police, fire or EMS when needed. Notify customers of non-emergency signals. Notify account contacts of emergency signals after dispatch. Receive and process inbound calls requesting information. Position requires some weekend and, holiday, and shift work and may require mandatory overtime.
