Registered Nurse (RN) Cardiac Diagnostics PRN

Inova Fairfax Hospital is hiring a PRN (as needed) Registered Nurse to join their Cardiac Diagnostics team. Schedule: As needed Monday-Friday, must be able to start 0630-0700. Flexibility in shifts-4-9 hours per day. This is day shift - no weekends, nights, holidays required. Prefer someone able to work at least once/week and cover for full time team members on PTO or leave.

• Our nurses assist with cardiac testing for outpatients and inpatients to include trans esophageal echocardiograms (TEEs), cardioversions, tilt table tests (TTTs), and cardiac stress tests.

• You will assist in both the prep and recovery of patients undergoing TIVA/general anesthesia for these procedures

• You will work closely with a great team of anesthesiologists, cardiologists, and echo techs to perform these procedures.

Cardiac Diagnostic RN Qualifications:

• Experience - 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse
• Certification - Basic Life Support through AHA

• Licensure - Licensed Registered Nurse or eligible for licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Registered Nurse

• Education: BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associates Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior acute care experience, including cardiac, critical care or procedural experience is preferred for this position. Prefer 3+ years RN experience to include rapid response, MSET experience.
