Shift:

The regular hours for this position are Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and every other Saturday from 6:00pm to 6:15am. You will receive a 15% shift differential for working on the night shift.

Job Description:

The Fab Equipment Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of semiconductor fabrication equipment. This role focuses on preventive and predictive maintenance, troubleshooting, and compliance with safety and environmental standards to support continuous manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Safety & Compliance

  • Prioritize safety in all work activities, strictly following health, safety, and environmental procedures.

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and company directives.

  • Monitor process gas delivery systems, including flow rates and leak detection, ensuring adherence to safety and environmental standards.

  • Handle hazardous and universal waste in accordance with regulatory and company requirements (training provided).

Preventive Maintenance

  • Complete all scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) tasks on fabrication equipment.

  • Escalate equipment issues promptly to minimize downtime.

  • Operate equipment using Graphical User Interface (GUI) or other controllers.

  • Verify calibration of equipment prior to use.

  • Maintain familiarity with Fab equipment to ensure proper functionality.

  • Perform PM activities per the equipment database scheduler and document findings.

  • Provide predictive and preventive maintenance support, including routine walkthroughs.

Documentation & Inventory

  • Update spare parts inventory in company systems as parts are used.

  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment status.

Facilities & Cleanroom Support

  • Escalate issues related to cleanroom performance monitoring and water treatment/DI water systems.

Teamwork & Communication

  • Communicate effectively and respectfully with peers, equipment owners, and production teams.

  • Participate in the Emergency Response Team (ERT), attend regular training, and respond to incidents per ERT requirements.

Other Responsibilities

  • Escalate procedural issues and follow documented work instructions.

  • Maintain confidentiality of company, client, and vendor information.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Pay Range:

$18.80 - $24.68

Pay Range Explained:

This role in Beaverton, Oregon pays between $18.80 and $24.68 per hour, depending on your experience, skills, and background. Pay may vary in other locations.
