Supervisor 2nd Shift

The 2nd Shift Quality Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and monitoring quality audits in multiple areas of distribution center, knowing and implementing all policies and procedures, mentoring, and developing the staff. This position will contribute to the Milwaukee team efforts by participating in continuous improvement projects as required. This supervisor should be customer-focused and quality driven.

Duties and Responsibilities
oResponsible for leading team objectives on safety, quality, cost, and delivery.
o Lead and coordinate quality team in the distribution center in order to meet Audit schedules by optimizing auditing process and balance audit workload.
o Supervise Lead DC and Quality Auditors to provide adequate sampling across all areas to meet the changing needs of the customers.
o Train/develop, motivate, counsel, and assist team members in work instructions, performance standards.
o Perform all related supervisory and human resource functions (work assignments, attendance documentation, incident reports, performance counseling, time sheets)
o Ensure the integrity of the quality data.
o Develop and maintain effective working relationships across all departments and teams.
o Assign work and special projects to team members to develop work experience and flexibility.
o Requisition resources (supplies, tools, etc.) and expedite as required.
o Contribute to team effort by performing related tasks as needed to assist in overall goals.

Education and Experience Requirements
o Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in distribution center Quality environment.
o Knowledge of warehouse management systems.
o Working knowledge in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
o Must have excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
o 2+ years supervisory experience working in a DC environment
