Job Description

Metals and Forgings Senior Project Manager

Position Summary

The Senior Project Manager at leads complex IT infrastructure and application projects, driving successful implementation, migration, and upgrades of both on-premises and cloud-based solutions. This role ensures all projects comply with corporate IT policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee full project lifecycle for IT infrastructure, applications, security, and cloud solutions (AWS, Azure, SaaS).
  • Serve as the single point of contact for project environments, coordinating with stakeholders across sites and divisions.
  • Align business objectives with technology solutions to meet operational and compliance goals.
  • Lead teams through project planning, execution, monitoring, and closure, applying PMI/PMP best practices.
  • Manage budgets, schedules, deliverables, and expectations, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Provide clear communication and training to project participants, including onsite and remote teams.
  • Implement and support core technologies such as Dell hardware, VMware, M365, ServiceNow, and Veeam backup solutions.
  • Apply PMI waterfall and Agile methodologies, demonstrating strong organizational, time management, and executive presentation skills.
  • Manage risk mitigation, including incident response and IT risk examinations.
  • Deliver projects for high-profile internal and external customers including IT, Finance, Operations, and Engineering.
Compliance & Security
  • Ensure all project activities comply with PCC IT Policies.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of project configurations, procedures, and recovery processes.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field of study is preferred
  • 10+ years of proven experience managing large-scale IT projects in manufacturing or metals industries is required
  • PMP Certification (active)
  • AWS and Azure certifications
  • Expertise in security, VOIP, data centers, cloud migration, and SaaS deployments
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, MS Office Suite, Visio, Windows, UNIX, and Veeam
  • Strong critical thinking, mediation, facilitation, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with cloud backup solutions and disaster recovery planning
  • Experience in VOIP migrations
  • Experience with new facility construction
  • Knowledge of compliance frameworks (SOX, Export Control, TCP)

For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $120,000 to $130,000 US Dollar (USD) Salaried based on a variety of factors. For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company's Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 2X the Company's bonus multiple, based on the Company's performance in the applicable quarter . Employees will receive 120 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company's medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company's 401(k) plan.
