Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work onsite with our client in Grand Prairie, TX. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

  • The role offers hands-on exposure to lean manufacturing initiatives, employee training, and production support activities.
  • Supporting the materials and manufacturing teams in achieving improvements in Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Inventory.
  • Helping to create, revise, and implement Standard Work Instructions (SWIs) to ensure consistency and quality in operational procedures.
  • Assisting with training documentation and onboarding materials for new employees or new processes introduced on the manufacturing floor.
  • Participating in procedural audits and feedback loops to ensure instructions remain current and effective.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams (manufacturing, materials, quality, design engineering, finance) to implement new processes and drive continuous improvement.
  • Conducting basic studies (researching, gathering, comparing, computing, and evaluating data) to support process efficiency and safety improvements.
  • Supporting the development and maintenance of systems related to warehouse and shipping operations, including layouts, process flow, and equipment coordination.

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $30/hr.

Hours: Part-time (30 hours/week, 4-5 days; flexible)

Length: Temp to direct (4 Months).

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience (including internships or part-time roles) in a manufacturing or technician environment.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Ability to interpret (or willingness to learn) engineering drawings and manufacturing documentation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Familiarity with SAP or other enterprise systems.
  • Understanding of lean manufacturing principles.
  • Comfortable using basic power tools (Drills, Saws, Angle Grinders, Wrenches).
  • Interest in technology, process standardization, and continuous improvement.
