Builder Welder

As a Builder Welder at nVent Management Company, you will be essential to our mission of constructing detailed, high-quality metal buildings and structural components. This is an outstanding opportunity to work on bold projects, ensuring the utmost precision and teamwork within our premier team. You will:

• Assemble and install building components, including HVAC units, windows, doors, and structural elements
• Weld structural steel and light gauge components in various positions including flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead
• Perform cutting, grinding, and fabrication of metal parts using torches, plasma cutters, and other tool

• Proven experience in construction and welding
• MIG welding experience (GMAW, FCAW) with AWS D1.1 qualifications preferred
• Ability to read and interpret structural blueprints, tape measures, and protractors
• Proficiency in using construction and welding tools and equipment
• Capability to work in various weather conditions and perform physically fast paced tasks, including lifting, pulling, and standing for long periods
• Strong attention to detail and dedication to quality
• Self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing project needs and timelines
