Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work onsite with our client in Grand Prairie, TX. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

  • Responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels within the company's facilities.
  • This role involves conducting regular cycle counts, reconciling discrepancies, and ensuring that inventory records align with physical stock.
  • The Cycle Counter collaborates with various departments to resolve inventory issues and supports continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled cycle counts to verify inventory accuracy.
  • Investigate discrepancies between physical counts and system records.
  • Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, to access inventory in various storage locations.
  • Utilize inventory management systems (e.g., SAP) for tracking and recording inventory movements.
  • Collaborate with team members and other departments to address inventory discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare reports related to inventory status and discrepancies.
  • Support warehouse operations and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and contribute to a safe working environment.

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $19.81/hr.

Hours: 40 hours/week - 1st shift.

Length: Temp to direct (4 months).

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory management or a similar role.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment, with a valid driver's license.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with electrical equipment.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Supply chain management or logistics.
  • Proficiency in inventory management systems (e.g., SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Candidates must have some inventory/cycle counting skills, have basic warehouse knowledge, and be able to pass a basic 3rd-grade math exam.

Additional Information:

  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
  • In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the necessary employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
  • Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks as needed.
