This role combines responsibilities for plant financial operations, project accounting, and general ledger management. The individual will act as a business partner to cross-functional teams, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with US GAAP, and driving continuous improvement in financial processes. The position supports both operational and project-based activities, including month-end close, revenue recognition, and financial analysis.
WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
Lead month-end close activities, including revenue recognition, percentage-of-completion analysis, journal entries, accruals, and general ledger verification. Manage project accounting activities, including customer invoicing, billing compliance, and resolution of complex invoicing and payment issues. Lead inventory processes and ensure proper posting of transactions, closing periods, configure cycle counts and perform annual inventory counts. Analyze financial and operational performance through daily, weekly, and monthly reporting, including labor, material, productivity, and variance analysis. Ensure compliance with financial policies, internal controls, and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements; support internal, external, and customer audits as needed. Partner crossfunctionally with Project Management, Engineering, and plant leadership to drive cost, cash, and productivity improvement initiatives. Provide ad hoc financial analysis, reporting, and business support to enhance operational effectiveness and decision-making.
YOU HAVE:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required. 3+ years of experience in operational finance, FP&A, or corporate finance; project accounting experience preferred. Working knowledge of cost accounting, PercentofCompletion revenue recognition, U.S. GAAP, and SarbanesOxley requirements. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience using ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Epicor, JDE); exposure to OneStream, Tableau, or similar tools a plus. Strong analytical, problemsolving, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to translate financial data into business insights. Ability to travel locally up to 20%.
