Position Title: Machine Operator
Wage: $20.00/hour Shift: 1st, 2nd or 3rd Hours: 7:00am - 3:00pm, 3:00pm - 11:00pm or 11:00pm - 7:00am Reached a dead end at your current job? Check out how this position can create a new path! QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity available for a Machine Operator at a company in Richfield, WI. This is a potential to hire position available across all shifts. Apply today! Machine Operator Responsibilities: - Set up folding and gluing operations of the machine in accordance with proper setup techniques - Minimize waste of sheet stock and glue - Operate machine to run efficiently and produce quality products - Ensure diagonal and corrugator scores are broken when necessary - Maximize utilization of equipment by operating the machinery at available capacity and speed - Assist in training all post job positions - Learn to run a variety of box styles - Check quality of boxes during the run, including mis-slotted boxes, loose liner, misprints and any other defects - Complete necessary reports in an accurate and timely manner, including but not limited to Production Data, Machine Operational Status, Safety Data and Quality Data - Turn in maintenance work orders to supervision for needed repairs; be proactive in the maintenance of equipment - Adhere to production schedule - Make recommendations for optimizing the schedule to meet cost, quality and service goals - Comply with company policies and procedures, including safety and maintaining good housekeeping Requirements for Machine Operator: - High School Diploma or GED; one year of minimum relevant experience preferred - Previous experience in the corrugated industry preferred - At least six months of experience in Press and Finishing department - Able to stand for entire shift - Able to lift 50lbs throughout day browndeer@qpsemployment.com IND102 QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
