Overview

Primiarily remote position with the expectation to routinely work in West Des Moines, IA

Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Flexible hours!)

This role provides essential operational support across the agency, with a focus on contracting, licensing, credentialing, and regulatory compliance. The position manages contract requests and maintains an accurate contract database in alignment with UnityPoint Health policies and applicable regulatory standards. In addition, the role supports credentialing processes and assists with licensure for all UnityPoint at Home service lines across multiple locations. Serving as a key resource to Compliance Department leadership and service line leaders, this position helps resolve operational questions and ensures smooth, compliant operations throughout the organization.

Responsibilities

* Responsible for the contracting process from request to execution such as but not limited to provider employee lease agreements, professional service agreements, real estate lease agreements, operational/regulatorily required agreements, etc.

* Responsible for analyzing fair market value, as applicable, for contract negotiation process.

* Responsible for performing sanction checks and organizing supporting documentation in the preparation of contract execution.

* Responsible for providing guidance and regulatory documentation/information to assist with operational licensure such as but not limited to state licensure, pharmacy licensure, maintaining NCPDP database, CLIA, etc.

* Provides guidance and works with leadership, including compliance and all UPaH service line leaders, on operational issues related to contracting, licensure, and payor credentialing.


Qualifications

Education:

  • Associate degree in business, health administration, related field, or equivalent experience
  • All staff are expected to participate in appropriate continuing education as may be requested and/or required by their immediate manager. In addition, staff are expected to accept personal responsibility for other educational activities to enhance job-related skills and abilities. All staff must attend mandatory educational programs.

Licensure/Certifications:

  • Valid driver's license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons.

Minimum Experience:

  • Legal and/or contract experience or education.
  • Minimum one year administrative, secretarial, paralegal, or office manager experience.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications - Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint.

Other:

  • Use of usual and customary equipment used to perform essential functions of the position.
