Join Adobe's mission to transform the future of creativity by building SDKs and platform libraries that power data driven insights and AI enabled experiences across Creative Cloud. We are seeking a software engineer with development and computer science fundamentals and experience designing, building, and evolving high performance, cross platform SDKs.
This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys working close to the system: designing stable APIs, managing complexity in large native codebases, and enabling product teams through reliable, well designed shared components. You will work on core SDKs where correctness, performance, binary compatibility, and long term maintainability are critical, and where architectural decisions have lasting, cross product impact.
Adobe values leaders who act with integrity, foster inclusive environments, and set the standard for engineering excellence across the organization.
What You'll Do - Implement and evolve foundational SDKs and libraries across Adobe products, defining data standards that enable high quality analytics, consistent telemetry, and AI powered services - Apply computer science principles including algorithms, data structures, concurrency, memory management, and system architecture - Drive quality through automated testing, validation strategies, and performance analysis across platforms and toolchains - Develop reference implementations and documentation that establish and guide teams toward consistent adoption
What You Need to Succeed - Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field - 5+ years of professional experience building production quality native software systems - Strong proficiency in one of the following: C/C++ preferred; or mobile development, iOS or Android or both; nice-to-have Java, JavaScript, node.js - Hands on experience across two or more platforms, such as Windows, MacOS, iOS, Android, or cloud services - Experience working in large, long lived codebases where stability, performance, and thoughtful evolution are essential - Debugging and problem solving skills in complex native and multi language environments - Demonstrated ability to operate in ambiguous problem spaces, making sound architectural tradeoffs with incomplete information - Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence technical direction and platform adoption - Proven ability to thrive in a small, highly collaborative, high impact team
Adobe Values At Adobe, we live by four guiding principles: - Be Creative: We imagine what's possible and build the future - Own the Outcome: We act like owners and deliver with accountability Raise the Bar: We pursue excellence and continuous improvement Be Genuine: We lead with integrity, inclusion, and authenticity
