As the AVP Digital Project Management Leader, you are responsible for leading and supervising multiple digital projects from start to finish, ensuring timely, within-scope, and budget-compliant completion. You will drive strategic initiatives and foster continuous improvement across the organization by guiding and managing others. This role will be on-site in Fort Worth, Texas and a typical day will include:

Strategic Leadership and Vision

  • Establish and communicate annual vision, goals, and objectives for the Global AVS Project Managers' Team to align with company strategies.
  • Champion change management initiatives to support global digital transformation.

Project Management and Team Leadership

  • Lead and mentor a dedicated team, ensuring milestones are met and fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture.
  • Demonstrate strong ability to unite cross-functional teams and drive consensus across diverse groups.

Global Ecosystem Development

  • Develop operational readiness processes, documentation, and dry-run testing for AVS integrations.
  • Optimize customer workflows and E2E processes for seamless global interoperability.

Continuous Improvement and Issue Resolution

  • Implement GAP analysis plans to resolve systemic issues during integrations.
  • Provide detailed reports to R&D, Digital Health, Regional teams, and cross-functional partners on challenges and opportunities.

Systems Enhancement and Initiative Support

  • Identify and support strategic opportunities to enhance systems, tools, and initiatives critical to AVS success.

Policy and Procedure Development

  • Create and maintain departmental policies and SOPs to streamline delivery and integration processes.
  • Coordinate remote delivery and integration of digital products globally.

Customer Engagement and Project Alignment

  • Develop and customize Procedures and templates for global regions.
  • Maintain strong alignment and communication with key internal and external stakeholders.

Performance Metrics and Continuous Improvement

  • Define and manage KPIs and OKRs to measure integration effectiveness and drive operational excellence.

Global Customer Site Profile Management

  • Oversee a comprehensive Global Customer Site Profile Tool to track AVS integration journeys.

What You'll Bring to Alcon:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +15 yrs; Assoc.+11 yrs; M.S.+4 yrs; PhD+3 yrs)
  • The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
  • 7 Years of Relevant Experience
  • 5 Years of Demonstrated Leadership
  • Travel globally (25-30%).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Project Management certifications: PMP, Agile Scrum, Lean Six Sigma, Black Belt
  • Experience delivering integration solutions for healthcare customers.
  • Experience leading technical teams.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
  • Proven project management experience in complex environments.
  • Expertise with Microsoft, Copilot, and AI tools.
  • Ability to pitch formal presentations and negotiate effectively.
  • Technical experience: configuring/supporting hospital networks, firewalls, VPN, HITECH requirements.
  • Creative problem-solving and successful IT project delivery track record.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required, with the ability to confidently engage in daily conversations. Additional languages are a plus.
  • IT certifications or computer network experience.
  • Experience with HIPAA, HITECH, security, and privacy compliance.
  • EMR and DICOM communication knowledge.
  • Global team leadership and change management experience.
  • Coaching and personnel development skills
