| Essential Job Duties |
The primary purpose of this role is to provide administrative, financial, and operational support to facilitate effective program management.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management & Reporting
- Maintain and reconcile NRP accounts (State, Trust, Contracts, and Grants) using systems such as PeopleSoft and Wolf Reports.
- Monitor budgets, accounts receivable and payable, and prepare detailed financial reports for program leadership.
- Ensure compliance with university and state financial policies and procedures.
Payroll & HR Transactions
- Administer bi-weekly payroll for student employees and part-time staff.
- Initiate and process HR transactions within NC State systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established guidelines.
Program Administration & Data Analysis
- Collect, analyze, and prepare management data to identify trends and support informed decision-making.
- Assist with program management activities, including scheduling, documentation, and coordination of audits and compliance reporting.
Office Operations & Customer Service
- Provide general office support, including ordering supplies, managing phones and mail, and maintaining records.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for faculty, staff, students, and external vendors while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
Compliance & Records Management
- Coordinate records processing activities that require interpretation of policies, laws, and regulations.
- Review data for completeness and accuracy and maintain electronic and physical filing systems in accordance with regulatory requirements.
